This program helped broaden his vision of the world. On return home, he has continued to work for the promotion of Tolerance in the field – Religious and Social. In this perspective, as a recognized presenter he has attended 81 international and numerous local seminars and conferences as well as organized 25 seminars/ conferences on diverse important topics relating to tolerance and peace.
It is particularly mentioned that in line with the government’s policy of bringing Deeni Madaris (religious schools) in the main stream of quality educational institutions, in the wake of the ongoing socio-political scenario of the world, in general, and of Pakistan, in particular, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid has already established a strong liaison with the religious leaders of all schools of thought through personal contacts, seminars and conferences and for the first time in the history of Pakistan, he organized three programs for the senior teachers of religious institutions of all schools of thought.
